Bishopville SC was a great competition. It was the first time for this competition in a town with a population of only 3147 people. It was well planned and everything went well. Congratulations are in order for JT’s Barbq for 1st place on Pork. My great friend Brian Pearson was excited about his 3rd place on pork. Bucky’s again was pleased with 6th place, out of 21 teams. This currently put Bucky’s at 8th in the state. Cooks Church went well with about 28-30 folks coming out in the cold at 6:45 am. As always thanks to Royal Oak Charcoal, Pit Barrel Cookers, and Carolina Cookwood for the support! This week I am off to Waltersboro. Doing Pork, Ribs, and for Friday night I am doing Burnt Ends. I don’t do traditional burnt ends! Keep checking back each week to see how Bucky’s is holding up on the competition circuit!
